Forklift Operator Wanted!

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Yard Hand to join a busy transport operation. This role is primarily forklift-focused, with operators spending the majority of their shift on the machine.

About the Role

You will be working in a fast-paced yard environment, responsible for:



Operating a forklift for full-shift production work



Unloading inbound trucks carrying pallets of crates



Transporting crates to the crate wash area



Moving washed crates back into the yard



Loading outbound trucks efficiently and safely

To be successful, you must have:



✅ Valid forklift licence



✅ Extensive forklift experience (operating close to 100% of your shift, daily)



✅ Experience loading/unloading one or more of the following:



Flat beds



Dog trailers



B-doubles



Pantech trucks



Shipping containers



✅ Experience using double tynes



✅ Strong forklift operator mindset (safety, efficiency, awareness)



✅ Clear communication skills (CB radio experience preferred)



✅ High level of attention to detail



✅ Ability to use tablets/iPads and warehouse systems



✅ Good physical fitness for yard-based work

Work Details



🕒 Hours: 9:30am – 5:40pm (Monday to Friday)



🗓️ Occasional Saturday mornings (if available)



💰 Pay Rate: $38.65 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
